What’s in a pack
A regular Japanese pack holds seven cards with two guaranteed holofoil — not ten, which is the English count and the single most common thing buyers get wrong about Japanese product. A deluxe or “fat” pack holds 35 cards with one card guaranteed Art Rare or better. A Japanese booster box contains 20 packs.
The chase
Reshiram ex carries the BWR rarity — Black White Rare, monochrome artwork against a stark solid-colour background with elaborate foiling. Only two cards in the world have it: this Reshiram and the Zekrom ex in Black Bolt. Every Pokémon introduced across the two sets has a secret rare variant at Art Rare or better, and Tinsel Holofoil cards return here.
Worth knowing
A cross-referencing trap: the English set lists were deliberately swapped relative to Japan. English White Flare carries the Pokémon Black exclusives, so a Japanese sv11W card list will not match an English White Flare list.
